Saying that I play EvE Online is a bit of a misnomer. I really live in the online world that is EvE.  I have been there in that virtual world for about a year.

First thoughts and impressions about EvE Online ?

Wow, that is hard, not sure where to start.

Is is an incredible experience, to say the least. I have always been a fan of science fiction.  And these days much of the science fiction that I read as a kid has become reality.

But that is not how I found myself on EvE Online.  I am in the online marketing world in RL, and I stumbled onto an article in the New York Times describing the meeting of a group of gamers and the game developers in Iceland.  Since I am immersed in the online world, I thought I would investigate and create an account.  Over a year later I am not only on EvE Onlone, I have become deeply involved in the expereince.

I have several really good friends that I have made ingame, I am managing a corporation and having a blast.

This is the first post to what I hope will grow to be a site about my thoughts, impressions, an deeper understanding of EvE Online game mechanics, stories ans points of view.
